Ventrilo 3 released!

The newest evolution of the Ventrilo client, Ventrilo 3, is released and quite a hot piece of software!

All our servers have been updated to Ventrilo 3, and you must have the newest client to connect to your servers. Please go to http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php and download the newest client from there. For Windows users, click on the first link (Windows i386 - 32bit (Version 3.0.0)). For Mac users, click on the second link (Mac OSX 10.3 or higher - 32 bit (Version 3.0.0)).

We've done the upgrades and have been monitoring services, and will be throughout the week to make sure everything's good and stable.

Bandwidth Updates

In the past year Aim2Game has upgraded with Internap bandwidth in several locations. This moved turned out to be extremely successful in all but one location. In our Seattle location we have begun talks with two new providers that have been extremely responsive. We will be going through extensive testing in the near future to come up with a solution that will benefit both gamers from Canada and the United States. Expect some very exciting news in the very soon with a more detailed explanation of our intentions.

Aim2Game Joins the GameRail Network

January 23, 2007 St. Louis, Mo. Progression, LLC dba GameRail (www.gamerail.com) today announced that it has a live presence in Los
Angeles with Aim2Game (www.aim2game.com). GameRail subscribers and free beta users will bypass the high latency Internet for direct access to Aim2Game’s servers that host popular titles such as Counter Strike, Counter Strike Source, Call of Duty, Condition Zero and Day of Defeat. Aim2Game also offers Ventrilo and TeamSpeak voice servers, Public and Private competitive gaming environments, as well as dedicated boxes.

“We are excited to partner with Aim2Game. Online gamers now have access to great titles on great servers via the GameRail Network” said GameRail’s President Blake Ashby.

“By connecting to GameRail, we expect to enhance the competitive gaming market by offering servers with lower latency connections than those seen on the Internet.
