It has been a long and very disheartening year for our Seattle location. After moving to InterNAP bandwidth from Peer1, we experienced some of the worst cases of routing that we've ever had in any of our locations, and even after numerous requests to adjust routing and add other providers to their mix, our requests had gone unanswered.
Four months ago, we had started looking into new alternatives to improve the situation in our Seattle location, and after discussions with three different providers, settled happily on Mzima, the stellar bandwidth providers in our Los Angeles location, bringing the same level of service into Seattle.
After an arduous 12-hour run to get things rolling, all game server clients are now in with Mzima, and should experience much lower latency and far better network connectivity than on InterNAP.
All gameserver clients have been moved to the new location, and the new IPs are in your control panel. Ventrilo IPs have not changed, and are still on InterNAP for the interim. If you have any questions, please feel free to email support, and we'll answer all the questions you have about the new Seattle move.
Located at 250 Williams St. and boasting Internap bandwidth, Atlanta is rising up as our fasting growing location. Connectivity in this facility has been nothing short of amazing.
We are at the Lakeside facility and the bandwidth blend put Aim2Game on the map in Central United States. Currently Chicago houses our largest client population. Connectivity to US and Canada is fantastic on this blend.
We have a presence in the Colo4Dallas facility on pure Internap that sets us aside from other providers. We use two separate connections for premium services and for budget minded web and file providers.
Los Angeles is one of our premier facilities. Arguably known as the most connected place on earth, hosting at 1 Wilshire was an easy decision for Aim2Game. Using Mzima bandwidth that is simply spectacular has allowed Aim2Game to remain a power on the west coast. Our on site techs live to handle on site work here.
We generally stay carrier neutral but going with Internap in New York was a simple decision for us. We have been extremely impressed at how smooth New York has become with a quality bandwidth provider in a class facility.
Market Post Tower in San Jose is owned by the same company as 1 Wilshire in Los Angeles. "Prestigious" is the only word to describe Market Post Tower. We use Internap bandwidth that has been stellar for us on the west coast. Inside this data center you actually need a sweatshirt to work comfortably. Market Post Tower understands the needs of providers and it shows.
Seattle was our second location for Aim2Game. We are located in the Westin Building and are currently working to bring in another bandwidth provider that will understand the value of great connectivity to both Canada and the United States. We expect some great news soon.
